Obituary for David Graham

David Graham
David Graham, aged 74 years of Milton, peacefully passed from this world into the arms of his Lord and Saviour on May 9th, 2018, surrounded by his family. Born in Ballymoney Northern Ireland, David emigrated to Toronto in June 1966. A Skilled master carpenter, trained in the old world tradition, David worked hard and found success in Canada. He purchased a partnership in a flooring business on the Lakeshore in Toronto and provided a plentiful life for his family, including a beautiful home in the outskirts of Milton. David is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Kathy (nee Briggs), his much-loved sons Colin (Joey) and Paul (Kate). David was a warm and attentive grandfather to Nathan and Matthew. Also survived by his brother Willis (Dorothy) in Northern Ireland and sister Margaret McQuillan (Andrew). David was predeceased by his grandchildren John and Elizabeth. David poured his life and energies into selflessly helping others. He is fondly remembered as a hardworking man that could fix anything. His deep love for his family was always evident and in particular, he will be missed at get-togethers where he regaled all with stories and his famous “flashbacks.” David and Kathy built their beautiful family home on a picturesque country property that was the landscape of many milestones and memories. David placed his faith in Jesus Christ on September 25th, 1997. Though he will be missed, we are comforted by the assurance that he is now in the presence of his beloved Saviour where we will be with him again.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKERSIE-KOCHER FUNERAL HOME, 114 Main St. E., Milton, 905-878-4452, on Sunday 13th May 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Milton Gospel Hall, 306 Ontario St. N., Milton, on Monday 14th May 2018 at 2 p.m. A private family interment at Milton Evergreen Cemetery will have taken place.
