Obituary for Jack Menton

Jack Menton
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Menton, loving husband to Jacqueline for over 51 years, Father to Lincoln & Jason, Father-in-law to Kerrey, Grandfather to Jacob, Owen & Addison, Great-Grandfather to Abbigail, Brother to Bill & Edward, Brother-in-law to Carole & Margret & Uncle to Karen, Todd & Brent. Jack also leaves many cousins, god-children and phenomenal friends behind, so many that we ran out of room to list you all, but you were all loved and remembered by him in his final days. Jack was a man who will be remembered for his gigantic love for his Wife and Family, the big smile on his lips (be it for good or bad reasons), the contagious laugh he would share with anyone he met, the song in his heart that he loved to share with his closest friends and family (and a few neighbors who weren’t invited to the party), his love for sports and the odd bet or two, his TV, his guitar, his infamous parties in his garage in Victoria Harbor and of course his famous recliner. Jack had a motto in life and that was to live it and have no regrets. Jack achieved both! That is what he would want you to remember, want you to celebrate and to toast in his honor as he looks down on us from above!.

We will be holding a Celebration of Life for Jack on Tuesday, June 5th 2018 at Hugh Foster Hall 141 King Street, Milton. There will be a short service, commencing at 11:30 am, followed by a Toast in Jacks Honor and then some light food and refreshments until 2pm. Guests can arrive by 11am. Parking for the Venue is either on the Public Parking off of Main Street/Brown Street OR in the Public Parking lots (several) located on Mary Street. The hall is just a 2 min walk from any of these locations. Everyone knows that Jack was a very charitable man so it was his wish that in lieu of flowers that a donation be made in his honor to the Salvation Army-Milton Food Bank.
