Wayne Thring
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved Wayne Thring on Friday June 15, 2018 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Forever remembered by his loving wife of 54 years Judy Thring. Survived by his loving children; Dwayne (Paula) and Kelly (Jamie).Will be deeply missed by his adored grandchildren; Amy, Dale (Natalie), Sydney, Kaitlyn and Karlie (the loves of his Life). Forever missed by his siblings; Shirley, Jim (Evelyn), Cliff (Shirley) and Bev (Connie). Wayne is predeceased by his baby son Dale, his parents Oliver and Helen Thring, his in-laws Betty and Jack Charlton, his brothers; Ron, Larry and Lyle. He will also be missed by his in-laws; Susan (Bob), Patti, Nancy (Mike) and Larry (Lori). Wayne also leaves behind his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom he loved dearly. His great passion in life was his racing career at Flamborough Speedway it was and is “The Thring Thing”. He has seldom missed a race travelling to Flamborough, Sunset and Oswegen Speedways with his brothers. As per Wayne’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life will be held on August 4th, 2018. Thank you to everyone at Oakville and Milton Hospital who took care of Wayne during this difficult time. A very special thank you to Dr. McDougall, Ador, Chintan, Mike and Yolanda for making his journey a little easier this past week. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations in memory of Wayne to the Milton District Hospital Foundation and the Oakville Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
