Condolence: Dearest Mary
My big cousin as kids we looked up to you as the oldest Tabbert family cousin. We went to Sudbury for our summer holidays. We walked to Bell Park every night and Mary would tell us the name of every flower. We swam at Lake Ramsey and went to shows at the amphitheatre. We followed the sweet waft of bread coming from the bakery. We walked downtown through the tunnel. We sewed Barbie clothes. We baked and baked and baked some more. We watched the slag dump from the front step of 17 Douglas St. We crocheted in our red robes and drank tea. Did she really enjoy children or was she just an obedient daughter. I can hear her laugh, she loved her Daddy and he would hug her oh so tight! She so loved to read and you could talk to her about any topic. She was going to come to see some art exhibits with us at the NAG. My dearest Mary "Sometimes waves of relief pass over me.Cleanse, relax and take me away,I am adrift free and gone.
I send no regrets, I wish you the best, But now I must rest!" Poet Peter Treboutat Treboutat

Condolence: Mary,It has been many years since we spent very much time together, but you are still missed. I miss you always flogging the latest mystery book, always being patient as we crocheted and sewed togther, and always being willing to share a good meal. You supported me both personally and professionally when I lived in Milton.. and I often wished you were still close after I moved to Ottawa. I promise to sing one round of "Down by the Bay" for you (you always commented on that song, not always in a flattering way when I used it in storytime) You were a great friend! Love Jane
