He put things in perspective for me I met Mark when he joined CAE as a part time Sim instructor. I remember him coming into my office with his big bright cheery smile and my first impression was “WOW what an upbeat guy”. While we chatted about nothing in particular he eventually shared his battle with cancer. I thought to myself “he is going to beat this” and he truly believed he would, so did most of us. His positive attitude made me realize each time he would drop in that my problems were small and how much I had to be thankful for. Throughout the next while Mark dropped in occasionally to visit, again always with his big warm smile and a funny joke or story to tell. His struggle continued but he never complained….. Mark, although I knew you only a short while, your bravery and fight for life are nothing short of heroic. Somewhere up in that big blue sky the angels have been blessed and I bet right now are whispering “WOW what an upbeat guy!”… You will be missed ...Carol
